Review by hotel critic
During my recent visit to Mercure, I was pleasantly surprised by the efficient 24-hour reception and the neat, soundproofed rooms. The free Wi-Fi was a great added value for someone like me who needs to stay connected even in the French Alps. However, the lack of in-room breakfast service and limited dining options made me question the overall luxury experience. The absence of a minibar and laundry service also left something to be desired. On the positive side, the welcome drink and pet-friendly amenities were a nice touch. The hotel's central location near the train station was convenient, but the off-site car park was a bit inconvenient, especially for adventure enthusiasts like myself with lots of gear. While Mercure offers a comfortable stay, the value proposition may not justify the cost for those seeking a more lavish experience.
